Taichi Holdings (Anabas) SSC-100 2-Way Cyclone Cleaner Stick & Handy Vacuum Cleaner
I bought this vacuum cleaner in January 2019 and it has survived to August 2022. I recommend it because it is cheap but high powered.
I wanted to buy the cheapest light-weight vacuum cleaner I could find, but the best of the cheapest. I shopped around and was a little put off by negative comments about this one (noisy, broke, easily, difficult to move around) but in the end I chose it because it was more powerful and had a larger dust collection container than other models in the same price range. I am very glad I chose this one. It is excellent. Yes, it is noisy, but that is because it is more powerful. It is 70 watts compared to the standard 40 watts in this range. It sucks much better than my previous 40 watt lightweight vacuum cleaner. In my opinion, the plastic handle and body is of sufficient thickness to be called “sturdy and strong” for this product range. My previous vacuum handle broke its top handle after a few months (Update: my handle broke after rough use after 3 years, quite good I think. )and its body/handle connection after a year. This SSC-100 seems much sturdier plastic. I was impressed because the suction could get the dust out of the rails of sliding doors, which my old vacuum could not. Also, the cable is long length, so I can reach further before switching sockets on this one. someone said it was difficult to move around since the bottom part does not swivel, but that was the same for my previous one, so I am not bothered by that. It is quite light-weight so I can just move it myself. I was very pleasantly surprised by this product, so I felt I should write a proper review so this company gets the sales it deserves. They obviously put just the right amount of effort and materials into this one. The price I paid (about 2,600 yen) was very good. If you are looking for a decent cheap lightweight cleaner, but want the most powerful you can get so that it actually sucks up stuff, then this would be a good choice.
